Welcome!

Wines of Great Britain are looking forward to welcoming you to our 2023 Trade & Press Tasting on Tuesday 5 September at Battersea Arts Centre.

The first Tuesday in September is now synonymous with the WineGB Trade & Press Tasting on the wine trade calendar, and Wines of Great Britain look forward welcoming you on Tuesday 5 September at Battersea Arts Centre (10.30am- 5.30pm). The iconic Battersea Arts Centre is our new venue for 2023 and offers plenty of the floor space, light and atmosphere for our tasting.

Producers from across the UK will be exhibiting, with some new names as well as returning favourites. This is the largest showcase for wines produced in Britain and you will have an opportunity to discover the ever-expanding range and scope of wine styles all under one roof, and to meet many of the winemakers and other producer representatives who will be there on the day.

Using this Bottlebooks platform you can access all the exhibitors and wines on show to help plan your visit in advance.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Highlights

We have a range of features to occupy you throughout your visit.

Our exhibitor stands will be positioned around the hall, grouped geographically where possible. Exhibitors include individual producers and shared stands and regional tables showing a variety of new and smaller commercial producers.

The ever-popular free pour tables will provide some additional focus on some of our key themes this year – see the themes below.

Sustainability will be a key theme at the tasting, with a focus tasting table of SWGB-certified wines. Additionally, our Industry Press Briefing at the beginning of the day will welcome our recently appointed Sustainability Ambassador, Anne Jones, who will outline the exciting initiatives this industry is undertaking to shape its future to make it a leading wine region for sustainability. The briefing will be introduced by WineGB Chair, Sam Linter, together with WineGB’s incoming CEO, Nicola Bates. If you would like to attend this, please

We are delighted to be working with Bottlebooks again to bring you the tasting booklet as a digital offering. A PDF version is available to print off and bring with you on the day.
